Fatima Moore
Principal & Founder
Fatima founded Firefly Advocacy to make lobbying and advocacy an accessible, personal experience for the organizations and communities most affected by public policy. She brings a decade of experience at the Minnesota State Capitol, where she has built trusted relationships with lawmakers, agency leaders and coalition partners across the state.
Before launching Firefly, Fatima served at the City of Minneapolis, rising from senior government affairs to director and later serving as Deputy City Coordinator. Earlier, she was Director of Public Policy at the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless, where she led the statewide Homes for All legislative agenda, and Local and Regional Policy Coordinator at the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers. She began her Capitol career in the inaugural 2016 cohort of the Citizens League’s Capitol Pathways program, interning with Lutheran Social Services, and holds a degree in social work with an emphasis on public policy from the College of St. Scholastica. At Firefly, Fatima is passionate about lighting the path from bright ideas to meaningful legislative change, and about opening the doors of government to the next generation of leaders of color.
